Job summary

AgeCare Corporate is recruiting a Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide care at Generations Toronto. The PSW will assist residents according to care plans, monitor wellbeing, and document care activities.

On-site duties include attending in-service sessions and onboarding new staff, while following strict IPAC policies to ensure a safe environment. The position requires a PSW certificate/diploma and compliance with Ontario standards for long-term care and geriatric care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of PSW certificate/diploma program.
• Must meet MOE/OTCUV standards and the Ontario Community Support Association guidelines.
• Knowledge of bedside care, sanitation basics, and geriatric resident needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents per their care plans and monitor care quality.
• Document care and report findings to supervisor.
• Attend in-service education, staff meetings, and workshops.
• Assist onboarding of new staff as directed.
• Follow IPAC policies and procedures.
