Personal Support Worker (LTC), Mount Hope - St. Mary's 5th Floor

Join us for the Personal Support Worker (LTC), Mount Hope - St. Mary's 5th Floor role at St. Joseph's Health Care London .

Location : Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care - London, ON

Employment Type : Full Time

Salary Range : $30.61 - $30.93 / hour

Shift : Evening Shift

Hours are subject to change based on scheduling needs.

Essential Qualifications

  • Graduate of a Personal Support Worker Certificate Program from an accredited institution
  • Proof of registration with the Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) (External Applicants)
  • Knowledge of Safety Culture in Healthcare per OHSA
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)
  • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, bending, standing, walking, pushing, pulling
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Police record check within the last six months, including vulnerable sector screening

Preferred Qualifications

  • Secondary (High) School Diploma
  • Proficiency in French (asset)
  • Interest in elderly care

Additional Information

As part of St. Joseph's Health Care London, affiliated with Western University and Fanshawe College, engaging in teaching and research activities is expected.

Immunization Requirements

  • Vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19, and influenza
  • Documentation of TB skin testing
