Job summary

St. Joseph's Health Care London seeks a Personal Support Worker for Mount Hope - Marian Villa, 5th Floor, in London, ON. This Job Share position includes a Day Shift and requires teamwork to support residents in a long-term care setting.

As part of Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care, the site partners with Western University and Fanshawe College for teaching and research. CPIC/vulnerable sector screening and immunization records are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Personal Support Worker Certificate Program from an accredited education facility.
• Proof of registration with the Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) (External Applicants Only).
• Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with the OHSA.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform functions that require heavy lifting, bending, standing, walking, pushing, pulling.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• A police record check completed within the last six (6) months from a Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC), inclusive of vulnerable sector screening, will be required of the successful candidate

Salary Range: $31.44 - $31.77 /hour

1 x Day Shift

It is understood that the hours of work reflect the current scheduling arrangements and are subject to change as determined by the Employer.

Essential Qualifications

• Graduate of a Personal Support Worker Certificate Program from an accredited education facility
