St. Joseph's Health Care London is seeking a Personal Support Worker for Mount Hope Centre, Marian Villa, 2nd Floor, London, ON. This job shares an evening shift with the current staffing plan and offers pay of $31.44–$31.77 per hour.

Responsibilities include supporting residents, along with immunization and health screening requirements. The successful candidate will have a PSW certificate, HSCPOA registration if external, and the ability to work in a team while complying with OHSA safety

Salary Range: $31.44 - $31.77 /hour

1 x Evening Shift

It is understood that the hours of work reflect the current scheduling arrangements and are subject to change as determined by the Employer.

Essential Qualifications

• Graduate of a Personal Support Worker Certificate Program from an accredited education facility
• Proof of registration with the Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) (External Applicants Only)
• Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with the OHSA
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
• Ability to perform functions that require heavy lifting, bending, standing, walking, pushing, pulling
• Ability to work in a team environment
• A police record check completed within the last six (6) months from a Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC), inclusive of vulnerable sector screening, will be required of the successful candidate

Preferred Qualifications

• Secondary (High) School Diploma
• Proficiency in French would be an asset
• An interest in working with the elderly population
