Job summary
Qualicare, Waterloo Region is seeking compassionate Personal Support Workers/Caregivers to join our home care team. The role involves working under the Care Coordinator to provide essential personal care services tailored to each client's needs, enhancing quality of life in their homes.
Responsibilities include bathing and grooming assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping, medication reminders, mobility support, transportation, companionship, and documenting care activities.
Qualifications
- Personal Support Worker Certificate is required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in home care setting.
- Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain.
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
- Ability to travel around location territory with own vehicle.
- Access to Internet/mobile phone.
