Job summary

CarePartners in Ontario is hiring Personal Support Workers to support patients in home and community care. You will assist with daily living activities under supervision of our Personal Support Manager, helping patients maintain independence in the Sturgeon Falls area.

You bring a valid PSW certificate or enrollment in a nursing program, a valid driver’s license with vehicle access, and a current vulnerable sector check.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid driver’s license (G or G2) and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Current vulnerable sector check and background check are required.
• PSW certificate or enrollment in a nursing program is required or preferred.
• Flexible hours including early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Promote safety and prevent injuries with proper body mechanics and safe transfers.
• Provide cognitive, social, and emotional support to patients.
• Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with care plans.
