Job summary

CarePartners is seeking Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to assist patients in their homes in the St. Thomas, ON area. You will support daily living activities, promote independence, and work under supervision of our Personal Support Manager.

Qualifications

• PSW certification or current enrollment in a Nursing program required/advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities (personal care, household tasks, respite care, medication assistance).
• Promote a safe environment using proper body mechanics and safe transfer techniques.
• Provide cognitive, social and emotional support to patients.
• Prepare nutritious meals as per care plan and ensure proper food handling.
