Job Summary
The Personal Support Worker is part of the home care team, working under the supervision of the Care Coordinator to perform personal care services to meet client needs.

Responsibilities
  • Assistance with personal care and hygiene

  • Medication assistance/reminders
  • Ambulation and transportation of clients

  • Documentation and charting
Qualifications
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (including foreign-trained nurses, nursing students)
  • NACC Certification
  • Current CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain
  • Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
  • Ability to travel within the territory
  • Access to internet and mobile phone
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
