As a PSW you will provide daily living assistance, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and mobility support for private clients. We offer paid training, flexible hours, mentorship, ongoing learning opportunities and a supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• Must have either PSW certificate or be nursing students, or international educated nurses or health care aid.
• Previous hands-on experience providing personal care to clients is preferred.
• Must have a recent Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Valid First Aid/CPR certificate is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living including personal care and hygiene, toileting and bathing.
• Light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation and nutrition.
• Shift reports and creating activity plans for clients.
• Maintain confidential information for each individual supported.
• Provide social/emotional support and mobility assistance.

As A PSW You Will

• May include but is not limited to, assisting individuals with daily living such as personal care and hygiene (i.e., Toileting, bathing, feeding, etc.), light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, nutrition, shifts reports, and creating activity plans.
• Maintain complete and confidential information for each individual supported.
• Provide social/emotional support to clients and their families, able to provide care in a kind and understanding manners to seniors.
• Accompany clients and assist them with walking, exercise, and mobility
