Role Details

• Position: Rotational PSW
• Location: Toronto (East York Area)

About Closing the Gap Healthcare (CTG): We are dedicated to providing Canadians with high-quality home-based and community care services. We seek compassionate and independent Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to deliver empathetic care in the community. PSWs will work under the supervision of our Client Services Supervisor and collaborate with our healthcare team, receiving support and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care, respite services, and assistance with activities of daily living to clients.
• Working independently in the community while collaborating with a team under supervision.

Skills and Qualifications

• Personal Support Worker certificate or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Focus on client safety and ability to develop respectful relationships with clients and families.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Accountability for multiple deliverables and high-quality performance.
• Problem-solving skills and knowing when to seek support.
• Reliable vehicle and Canadian Driver’s license.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
