As Our New Personal Support Worker, You Will
  • Demonstrate awareness of resident-centered care topics (e.g., infection control, continence care, oral/skin care, resident safety, nutrition, dementia, etc.)
  • Be skilled and able to prioritize and properly complete tasks effectively without compromising the care and compassion provided to residents even when under stress.
  • Follow the Plan of Care, observe and report any substantial changes in resident’s care, overall health, documents change into the system and communicate to the Neighbourhood Coordinator or village Registered team member.
  • Respect the rights and dignity of all residents, families, team members, and visitors to the Village and address any requests with professionalism and care.
  • Support and embrace our resident-centred social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of service to our residents, visitors, and team members through comprehensive and effective support.
To be successful as our new Personal Support Worker you will
  • Diploma or certificate from an accredited Personal Support Worker (PSW) program (or provincial equivalent certificate program)
