Job summary

ParaMed in London, Ontario is seeking a part-time Personal Support Worker to support patients in their homes and community settings. You will assist with activities of daily living, prepare meals, provide basic housekeeping, and offer companionship to enhance quality of life.

The role requires a valid PSW certificate, a driver's license and reliable transportation, a clear Vulnerable Sector Screen, and a compassionate, flexible approach.

Qualifications

  • Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate is required.
  • Ability to demonstrate compassion and care when interacting with patients.
  • Reliability and flexibility are essential.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle to travel to patient residences.
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Screen is required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living including skin, hair, and oral care, bathing, toileting and peri-care.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks per care plan, including special diets.
