Job summary

SE Health in Kingston, Ontario is hiring full-time and part-time Personal Support Workers for community care in the Kingston area. This role includes mileage and travel time coverage and a focus on delivering compassionate in-home support to clients.

The position is eligible for Health Force Ontario PSW funding ROS, a wage and benefits increase, and a range of total rewards. SE Health offers flexible shifts and growth opportunities across Canada.

Qualifications

• Valid PSW certificate or diploma is required.
• RN/RPN credentials are acceptable for eligibility.
• Nursing students with two clinical placements may qualify.
• Developmental Support Worker diploma is an asset.
• Foreign-trained nurses may be considered for eligibility.

We are currently hiring Full-time and part-time days and evenings Personal Support Workers (PSW) for Community care in the Kingston areas.

Qualifications Accepted To Work As a PSW

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
• RN or RPN
• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required.
• Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB, Tetanus and Covid.
• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC).
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aid.
• Availability to work days OR evenings and every other weekend.
• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement.
