Job summary

Qualifications

• DEP or AEP in Personal Support Work required for care delivery.

• CPR certification with minimum 16 hours training required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene and comfort care to residents daily.
• Assist with morning and evening personal hygiene routines.
• Distribute meals and assist with eating as needed.
• Help residents with mobility throughout the residence.
• Maintain supervision and ensure safety of residents at all times.
• Inform nurse of behavioral changes or unusual reactions immediately.
• Participate in recreational activities organized for residents.
• Perform housekeeping duties including laundering clothing and linens.
• Support infection prevention and overall cleanliness.
• Follow LOKIA Group procedures and protocols.
• Administer medication only with Loi 90 certification and required approval.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor and work under Director of Care.

• Follow LOKIA Group procedures and protocols
• Administer medication only with Loi 90 certification and the required approval
• Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor
• Work under the authority of the Director of Care

Requirements

• DEP or AEP in Personal Support Work in Institutional and Home Care Settings
• RAC or an RAC AP-RPA exemption letter issued by a CFP (public vocational training centre)
• PDSP certification and physical card (formerly PDSB)
• Current CPR certification (minimum 16-hour training)
• Loi 90 certification required for this position
• 0–2 years of experience in a similar role
