Job summary

A well-established insurance brokerage in Toronto is seeking a service-oriented CSR to manage personal lines. Responsibilities include processing applications, renewals, and pursuing cross selling opportunities. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years experience in an insurance brokerage and hold a RIBO License. This position offers excellent benefits including RRSP matching and three weeks of vacation.

Overview

A well-established Insurance Brokerage in North York is currently expanding their Personal Lines team and are in need of a service-oriented CSR to support day-to-day portfolio management

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and complete applications, endorsements, binders and invoicing
  • Recommend additional coverages and pursue cross selling / up selling opportunities
  • Perform annual renewal reviews and risk exposure analysis of policies
  • Process insurance policy changes, renewals and cancellations
  • Maintain control of renewal expiration lists, binders, audits, and aged receivables
  • Respond to client inquiries, company requests and insurance company representatives via telephone, incoming e-mail and mail
  • Update and maintain electronic client files in BMS and ensure all required documentation and activities are recorded
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of service experience in an insurance brokerage setting
  • RIBO License required
  • TAM experience considered an asset
  • Experience working various insurance company portals
  • Strong client service skills are essential
  • Ability to work on-site is required
