Job description

Our growing team at Colley Insurance is looking for a Personal Lines Broker to join their team. Colley is now part of the McDougall Insurance Brokers network and is newly managed by McFarlan Rowlands Insurance Brokers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide service to assigned clients on renewal and throughout the policy period; handle questions and inquiries, recommend and provide increased limits or coverage.
  2. Handle all incoming inquiries and requested changes regarding assigned clients.
  3. Ensure the quality and timeliness of policy documentation processing, including new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, etc.
  4. Record and process various claims transactions.
  5. Manage accounts receivable for assigned clients, following corporate procedures.
  6. Complete all abeyance items using follow-up lists.
  7. Solicit new personal lines business from existing accounts.
  8. Provide backup for other Personal Lines Account Managers as needed.
  9. Adhere to all system procedures and insurance company regulations.
  10. Perform other duties or special projects as required.
Qualifications:
  • RIBO Licensed or RIBO license eligible.
  • Minimum of 2 years sales, service, or processing experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills, good written and oral communication, organized, attentive to detail, able to prioritize, team player, accurate in record-keeping.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; EPIC knowledge is an asset.

Salary Range: From $45,000 per annum
