Qualifications

We are seeking a Personal Insurance Advisor to join our Personal Insurance team at our Horizon Heights, AB Branch on a Permanent Full-Time basis.

Role Responsibilities
  • Service ongoing client needs, advise on insurance, conduct needs assessments, recommend solutions, answer inquiries, make care calls, and process renewals
  • Sell new policies and retain existing clients
  • Quote new business via outbound calls, introductory letters, and walk-in clients
  • Coordinate with underwriters and adjusters
  • Prepare documentation, complete applications, issue certificates, process changes, and review renewals
  • Stay current on underwriting rules and workflows
  • Participate in training and community marketing initiatives
Candidate Requirements
  • High School or Post-Secondary Education
  • Minimum 2 years sales experience (insurance sales preferred but not required)
  • Level 1 General License preferred
  • Exposure to Epic is an asset
  • Strong customer focus and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to pass criminal and credit background checks
