We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Caregiver to join our team. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional care and support, ensuring client comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide homemaking services such as cleaning, cooking, laundry, and household management.
• Offer companionship and accompany clients to community activities and events.
• Administer personal care services according to care plans.
• Ensure clients' emotional, spiritual, and physical comfort and safety.
• Assist with activities of daily living tailored to individual needs.
• Perform specialized procedures with demonstrated competency after training.
• Observe, document, and report client conditions and any changes or unusual events.
• Follow infection prevention practices.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited caregiver training program or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong caregiving principles and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English; French is an asset.
• Ability to provide high-quality care with current community care practices.
• Physical ability to assist clients with movement and repositioning, including lifting up to 23 kg.
• Reliable transportation; driver’s license and vehicle are assets.
• Clear Criminal background check with Vulnerable Sector screening.
