Bayshore is seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Caregiver to deliver exceptional care and support to our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide homemaking services such as cleaning, cooking, laundry, and household management.
• Offer companionship and accompany clients to community activities and events.
• Administer personal care services following care plan directives.
• Ensure clients' emotional, spiritual, and physical comfort and safety.
• Assist with activities of daily living tailored to clients' needs.
• Perform specialized procedures with demonstrated competency after training.
• Observe, document, and report client conditions and any changes.
• Implement infection prevention practices.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited caregiver training program or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong caregiving principles and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English; French is an asset.
• Ability to provide high-quality community care services.
• Physical ability to assist clients with movement and lift up to 23 kg.
• Reliable transportation; driver’s license and vehicle are assets.
• Clear Criminal background and Vulnerable Sector checks.
