Long Term Care

Royal Ottawa Place is a 64-bed long-term care facility providing a home-like environment for adults with stable mental illness and/or physical limitations. It is divided into four areas supporting 16 residents each, with an average age of 65 years.

Qualifications

• Personal Support Worker certification with 1 year of documented experience in long-term care, including psychiatric and mental health care, or RPN student with successful completion of year one, or RN student with successful completion of year two.
• CPR certification or re-certification within the last 12 months.
• Knowledge of mechanical lifts, transferring, and positioning techniques for residents.
• English level A- in speaking, comprehension, reading, and writing; bilingual (French/English) is an asset.

Salary Range

31.98 to 33.80 per hour
