Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide essential personal care, companionship, and homemaking services to clients in accordance with an established plan of care. The goal is to support clients in maintaining their independence and comfort within their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

Personal Care Support

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, skincare, nail care, foot care, back care.
  • Support safe mobility and ambulation; assist with range of motion exercises and the use of mobility aids (e.g., wheelchair, walker)
  • Plan and prepare meals; assist with feeding as required

Companionship & Homemaking

  • Provide meaningful companionship and emotional support
  • Perform light housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, dishwashing, laundry, and changing bed linens

Medication Support

  • Assist clients with self-administered medications, as per the care plan

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of the DEARS (Drugs and Ethics) test
  • Proficient in English (oral and written) and fluent in at least one of the following languages: Ukrainian, Polish, or Russian
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle or alternative transportation
