Job summary

Bank of Montreal is seeking a customer-focused Retail Banking Sales & Service associate to deliver exceptional service, assess customer needs, and guide them to suitable financial solutions. You will work with branch teams and partners to meet business objectives and enhance the customer experience.

The role involves handling transactions, answering inquiries, advocating digital/self-serve options, and referring opportunities to specialists as needed.

Qualifications

• No prior experience necessary; post-secondary degree or certification in related field of study is desirable.
• High-level knowledge of personal, commercial and partner offers, and how each can best serve customers’ individual needs.
• Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools, and applications.
• Readiness to collaborate and work in different capacities as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Delivers exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects.
• Identifies customer needs and provides advice and guidance regarding financial solutions.
• Initiates referrals to BMO colleagues and supports customer requests for banking services.
• Escalates complex situations to managers and contributes to branch results and customer experience.
• Follows risk and compliance processes and safeguards customer assets.
