Job Description:
Clients
- Offer an exceptional and consistent experience during every interaction with clients and contribute to continuous improvement of the overall client experience.
- Manage the client onboarding experience, helping them use digital services, develop banking skills, and start their savings and investment journey.
- Serve as the first point of contact in the branch, providing a welcoming environment, responding to simple needs, guiding clients, and connecting them with specialists or colleagues as needed.
- Inform and advise clients on digital services to enable self-service banking.
- Ask reflective questions to understand client needs, propose solutions within your scope, and refer to specialists for needs beyond your capacity.
- Present and promote TD products and services that match client needs, focusing on banking products, personal credit, and investment products.
- Resolve client issues and connect them with specialists when necessary.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming appearance in all branch areas, adhering to guidelines and regulations.
- Handle frontline cash or account operations, establishing client relationships, providing advice, and deepening connections.
Shareholders
- Contribute to business objectives by identifying opportunities to advise and recommend, supporting growth.
- Promote the full range of products, advice, and banking services.
- Understand and apply operational policies and procedures.
- Help achieve excellence in operations.
- Ensure rapid and rigorous application of processes and procedures.
- Refer non-routine or high-risk activities to a higher level as needed.
- Ensure documents are accurate, reflect client intentions, and are properly stored.
- Support process improvements and participate in them.
- Apply necessary due diligence to ensure operational and regulatory compliance.
- Understand and respect policies on AML and other regulatory requirements.

- Possess knowledge and skills to serve and advise clients across a broad product range.
- Understand the full product and service suite, managing low to moderate complexity or risk.
- Provide recommendations and advice, including in unusual situations.
- Assess issues and errors based on policies, procedures, or precedents.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a positive client experience.
- Contribute to the quality and relevance of the client experience.
- Suggest improvements to practices and processes.
- Explain complex information clearly to team members and clients.
- Complete necessary training for various tasks.
- Report to a branch manager or assistant manager.
Experience and Education
- High school diploma.
- At least one year of relevant experience.
- Investment Funds in Canada (FIC) course or equivalent within 6 months of appointment.
- Post-secondary diploma or university degree in a related field is an asset.
