Job summary

BMO Financial Group is looking for a customer‑focused banking professional in Canada to deliver exceptional service in Retail Banking Sales & Service. You will identify needs, guide customers through financial solutions, and collaborate with partners to expand relationships.

You will welcome customers in the branch lobby, advise on digital options, and conduct conversations about banking services to promote appropriate channels and products, including credit cards and investments.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience desirable.
• Registration to sell investment products completed or in progress (Canada only).
• Confident with social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools.
• Strong consultative sales and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with BMO partners to identify referral opportunities that further grow the customer’s relationship with BMO beyond personal banking.
• Welcomes and guides customers in the branch lobby, offering advice on digital/self-serve options to make banking easy and fast.
• As lobby leader, conducts client conversations about banking services to recommend channels and provide personal banking/investment guidance.
• Meets customer transaction-based needs with seamless execution.
• Reviews customer profiles to identify opportunities and address everyday banking needs such as credit cards.
