Job summary

BMO is seeking a customer service–oriented representative in Ontario to assist customers with banking needs and referrals. You will engage in needs-based conversations, promote digital options, and collaborate with branch teams to deliver a seamless banking experience.

Your role includes handling routine transactions, addressing inquiries, and supporting risk and compliance processes while contributing to branch performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• No prior experience is required; post-secondary degree or certification in a related field is desirable.
• High‑level knowledge of personal, commercial and partner offers and how they serve customers.
• Confident with social media, tablets, smartphones and online tools.
• Able to help customers who find digital applications challenging to use.
• Professional presence and strong customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and initiate referrals to BMO colleagues.
• Support customer requests for banking services and inquiries.
• Offer guidance on digital and self-serve options to simplify banking.
• Escalate complex issues to managers as needed.
• Contribute to branch business results and customer experience.
• Handle cash transactions and reconcile between treasury and branch units.
• Follow risk, regulatory and privacy requirements.
