A local school board in Ontario seeks a part-time administrative support professional to assist in providing secretarial services within a school environment. The role involves preparation of correspondence, report completion, and pupil inquiries handling. The ideal candidate has a two-year college diploma or similar qualifications with strong secretarial and communication skills. This position works 17.5 hours weekly, primarily in the mornings, and offers a salary between $28 - $30 per hour.
Under the direction of the Principal or designate and in cooperation with the School Office Administrator, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the provision of administrative and secretarial support services within a school setting to ensure a positive and safe learning environment for all students, staff, and members of the public. Duties include, but are not limited to: preparation and/or typing of correspondence, completion of reports and documents, maintenance of files and records, and answering and/or directing inquiries as per board/school policy.
This position works 17.5 hours per week in the mornings; schedule to be determined by the Principal.
