Position Summary

The St. Clair Catholic District School Board is recruiting permanent teachers to cover permanent teacher vacancies that may arise throughout the school year. The successful candidate(s) will be assigned to a teaching position in any geographical region within the St. Clair Catholic District School Board.

The below noted positions are available for the 2025-2026 school year. Please note that assignments are subject to change based on system staffing needs.

  • Practicum Teaching Reports or Recent Teaching Evaluations (if an experienced teacher)
  • References.
  • Criminal References Check with Vulnerable Sector (within six (6) months) will be required upon hire.

Reporting/Responsibilities

Reporting to the designated School Principal.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Certificate of Qualification from the Ontario College of Teachers (member in good standing).
  • Qualifications in division posted.
  • Must have completed a minimum of one long term occasional assignment that was a minimum of four (4) months duration, and has received a satisfactory occasional teacher evaluation.
