Job description

As a Permanent Teacher for DDSB, you’ll create a vibrant and supportive learning environment where students thrive. You’ll bring your passion for teaching to the classroom, guiding students through their educational journey and fostering a love for learning.

• Develop and deliver engaging lessons that align with the curriculum and support student learning.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to help students grow.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to enhance student learning.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students.

• Required subject qualifications : French as a Second Language (an asset), Junior / Intermediate, Special Education part 1
• FTE : 0.2
• Grade(s) / assignment : Junior / Intermediate Gifted Coverage (with the possibility of French coverage )
• Ontario teaching certificate (OCT) in good standing
