We are currently looking for a hard-working, enthusiastic, and friendly person to join our dynamic, fast-paced Acute Theatre Suite.
We offer a wide and varied range of surgical specialties that include Maxillo Facial, ENT, General Surgery, Orthopaedic Trauma, Gynaecology, Obstetrics, Urology & Paediatrics, covering Elective and Emergency procedures in all of the aforementioned specialties. We are delighted to announce that we also have Robotic Assisted Surgical Technology training pathways for specific theatre specialties and their team members.
You should possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to work cohesively within the multidisciplinary team. Experience of working within a theatre is essential, whilst always maintaining confidentiality. Hours will be worked to meet the needs of the service, which will include shift & weekend work and rotational nights as required, with flexibility to work over all sites in Fife.
You should possess an SVQ Level 3 perioperative/SVQ Level 3-health care support (clinical-perioperative units) qualification.
There is a robust induction program that is supported by a full-time Clinical Educator and part-time Education Coordinator.
We are passionate about investing in and developing all our team members. We currently offer development opportunities for non-registered practitioners to advance their career within the perioperative setting through the SVQ/SQA health care support (clinical – scrub modules) qualification at level 3.
Theatres can be an intense, fast-paced environment with a team working ethos being at the heart of the services we provide. If you enjoy a challenge and would like to join this busy, friendly unit, then this may be the post for you.
