Job description

Job Purpose

Dana TM4 is searching for performance test technician for our evening shift :

Monday to Thursday from 14:00 to Midnight

As a Performance Test Technician for our evening shift, you will be responsible for operating a dynamometer test cell. This includes the mechanical setup of the bench, test cell commissioning, test execution and reporting. You will be involved in the execution of a variety of test scopes including engineering, software, performance, and functional testing. You will play an active role in the validation of Dana TM4 electric motor systems for the electric vehicles (EVs) of tomorrow.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Perform validation tests on electric motor systems such as electric motors, inverters, battery chargers and vehicle controllers.
Prepare test bench setups including fixtures, installation of equipment under test and installation of instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and torque meters.
Execute tests according to the test plan.
Draft test reports to present results.
Identify and find technical solutions for problems encountered during testing.
Maintain technical documentation up to date.
Maintain 5S in the test cell

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:


Attestation of College Studies (AEC) in electric vehicles or Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in electrical/electronics engineering
2 to 5 years of experience as an electronics technician, machine operator or test technician
Essential: knowledge of laboratory equipment: oscilloscope, multimeters, accelerometers, etc.
Knowledge of dynamometer testing
Autonomy and resourcefulness
Proactivity and solution-oriented mindset
Team player
Functional English
