Job summary

Astra-North Infoteck Inc. is seeking a Performance Test Engineer with strong hands-on LoadRunner experience to design, execute, and analyze performance tests for enterprise applications.

The role requires expertise across performance testing methodologies, protocols, performance analysis, and CI/CD integration. You will design scripts with LoadRunner VuGen, Controller and Analysis, create workload models, conduct load, stress, spike and soak tests, and collaborate with developers, DBAs and infra

Qualifications

• Experience with LoadRunner across multiple protocols and environments.
• Strong hands-on performance testing experience for enterprise applications.
• Ability to integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines and agile workflows.

Responsibilities

• Analyze non-functional requirements and define performance testing strategies aligned with application objectives.
• Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using LoadRunner (VuGen, Controller, and Analysis).
• Create workload models and simulate real-world user load scenarios.
• Conduct Load, Stress, Spike, Endurance/Soak, Scalability, and Capacity testing.
• Develop performance test scripts for Web (HTTP/HTML), Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, TruClient, and other supported protocols.
• Execute performance tests and monitor application behavior under varying load conditions.
• Analyze test results and identify bottlenecks across application, database, middleware, and infrastructure layers.
• Collaborate with developers, DBAs, and infrastructure teams on performance tuning and optimization.
• Prepare performance test reports with findings, recommendations, and improvement plans.
• Implement performance test automation and integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Support performance testing activities within Agile development environments.
