Per Diem RN or LPN Position

Flexible shifts available: evening and weekends

As a Nurse at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, you will use your expertise in the field to make a positive impact on our clients and families by playing an integral role in admission assessment; assessing patients; collecting and documenting the patients' current health status and medical history; and administering medications daily and assisting with the initial treatment plan and the treatment planning process.

Strong communication skills are required as communicating information related to the client's medical care and behavior with the treatment team including the psychiatrist is key. You will be responsible for oversight of an assigned caseload of individuals residing in our group homes and work collaboratively with team members, external agencies, and/or guardians.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Massachusetts and Rhode Island provides programs and services for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders, complex mental health, and behavioral health disorders. Located in Rutland, MA, this position is responsible for the safety and security of all youth as assigned and provides and ensures therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

If LPN:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Must be a licensed practical nurse in the State of Massachusetts.
  • Previous experience with children and adolescents preferred.

If RN:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a related field of nursing.
  • Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Must hold a current RN license by the Massachusetts State Board of Nursing.
  • Must be able to complete 2 week new hire paid orientation training in Rutland, Monday - Friday from 8-4pm.

Schedule & Pay:

  • Must be able to attend a 2 week paid orientation, which runs Monday-Friday, 8AM - 4PM in Rutland, MA.
  • Proceeding Orientation: Looking for shift coverage during vacations.
  • For LPNs: Starting at $28.72 with increases available for relevant experience and higher education up to $30.73!
  • For RNs: Starting Rate: $37.35/hour + additional compensation for higher education/years of experience in the field up to $40.35/hour.
