Overview

Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba

Term: Select Term: Fall Term: September – December

Job Type: Onsite

What Will You do in Your First Experience?

You will be based out of one of our world-class manufacturing facilities in Canada. During your term, you will gain critical experiences and skills through improving production efficiencies, innovating business solutions, and implementing process changes. You will also have the opportunity to showcase your tangible impact by presenting your contributions to the Supply Chain Leadership team. Additionally, locations such as Moncton, Vancouver, Falbourne, Montreal, Winnipeg, and Calgary offer leadership opportunities, including motivating frontline teams, problem-solving issues, and tracking business-critical KPIs to identify trends and focus on meaningful projects that support PepsiCo’s goals.

Responsibilities

Additional Skills & Experiences you will gain include:

  • Building people capability through employee relations, training, and communication for frontline personnel.
  • Applying theoretical and practical knowledge of operations, repair procedures, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance to support equipment reliability.
  • Executing the Annual Operating Plan for Production.
  • Achieving performance standards related to safety, line utilization, and quality.
  • Tracking KPIs and costs, and correcting trends to meet financial targets.
  • Overseeing and ensuring facility equipment reliability to minimize downtime.
  • Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety regulations and quality management programs such as HACCP, GMP, and SSOPs.
Qualifications

What PepsiCo is looking for:

  • Availability to work from September – December (Fall term).
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sciences, or similar programs.
  • Second-year students or higher preferred.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and commitment to teamwork.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to manage priorities.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable attitude.
