PepsiCo Beverages Seasonal Full Time Transport Driver

Responsibilities

• Responsible for transporting products and raw materials to and from branch and plant locations.
• Driving a Tractor / Trailer. Automatic and Manual Transmission.
• Responsible for picking up raw materials from suppliers and returning to the plant.
• Must perform all work duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform All Proper inspections as per MOT regulations including Proper Pre/Post Trip on all equipment, maintain HOS Logs.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent defensive driving skills and professional driver techniques in a highway and intercity environment.
• Strong Customer focus and the ability to quickly adapt to the changing needs of our internal customers.
• Reporting to Supervisor / Manager.

Physical demands and working conditions:

• You can lift/carry large loads up to 50 lbs repetitively throughout an 8-10 hour day
• You can maneuver large loads by hand and with use of various aides, requiring a wide range of physical agility, flexibility, and strength
• You will be exposed to a variety of weather and temperature ranges, and you will safely operate the equipment during poor road and driving conditions

Qualifications

• A valid Class AZ driver’s license required with a proper understanding of MTO regulations and the HTA as it pertains to commercial drivers.
• A clean abstract as well as a proven safe driving record.
• MUST be able to drive manual transmission
• Must have 1-2 years of experience with driving with an AZ License
• NO AR Restrictions
• Occasionally pushing/pulling/lifting a maximum of 250 lbs. (with the aid of a mechanical device).
• Frequent bending and reaching above the shoulder
