Job summary

PepsiCo Beverages Canada is hiring a Maintenance Millwright for night shift, Sunday to Thursday, 9pm–5:30am. The role requires Red Seal and offers overtime opportunities with health, dental benefits, pension and RRSP match.

You will maintain and repair plant equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and support electrical and mechanical tasks. Mentoring junior technicians and troubleshooting complex issues are also part of the job.

Qualifications

• Certified Industrial Millwright with Red Seal.
• Pass technical assessment addressing maintenance knowledge areas.
• Experience with basic mechanical systems and electronics.
• Able to read product manuals and apply repair knowledge.
• Skilled in using machine shop equipment (lathe, mill, grinder).
• Experience with diagnostics and troubleshooting, PLC a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair plant equipment and mechanical systems.
• Inspect equipment, perform preventive maintenance per specs.
• Support electrical and mechanical maintenance, changeovers and installations.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform complex repairs.
• Mentor less-experienced technicians as needed.

PepsiCo Beverages Canada - Full-Time Millwright

• This is a full-time position that requires open availability Night Shift.
• $45.70 per hour with full-time hours and overtime opportunities
• Shift: (Sunday to Thursday, 9pm - 5:30am)
• Night shift premium - $1.65 per hour
• Health and Dental Benefits, Pension and Match RSP

The Role:

The Maintenance Millwright is responsible for maintaining and repairing plant equipment and mechanical systems within the Pepsi bottling and processing facility. This role involves inspecting equipment for proper operation and performing mechanical preventive maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications. The successful candidate will support day-to-day electrical and mechanical maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, repairs, changeovers, and installations on advanced manufacturing and production equipment. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment malfunctions, performing complex repairs or adjustments, and providing mentorship and support to less-experienced technicians as needed.

Qualifications

• Certified Industrial Millwright ticket with Red Seal.
• Pass technical assessment addressing job-critical maintenance knowledge areas.
• Experience with basic mechanical systems (e.g., chains, belts, sprockets, bearings, installation, tensioning...).
• Experience with electronics (e.g., level probes, flowmeters, drives/VFDs, etc.).
• Experience with product manuals (e.g., reading and applying knowledge to make repairs).
• Must be skilled in the use of machine shop equipment (lathe, mill, grinder, etc.)
• Experience with machine troubleshooting (e.g., diagnostics, problem solving, etc.)
• Experience with PLC is a plus.
