Job summary

PepsiCo Beverages Winnipeg is seeking a Part-Time Repack Operator to join our team. You will re-packaging products, sort, and stack while operating equipment such as shrink wrappers and balers. You will document activities and perform housekeeping as part of a safety-first shift environment.

The role requires reading and writing English, basic data entry, and the ability to work evenings, afternoons, and weekends. Forklift experience is preferred and training is provided where needed.

Qualifications

Compensation:

  • $17.69 per hour

Responsibilities
  • This position will be responsible for Re-Packaging various products, sorting, stacking products, operating equipment (Shrink Wrapper/Baler/crusher, etc). Other responsibilities include completing required documentation, general housekeeping/recycling duties, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent. A post-secondary education is preferred.
  • Must be able to read and write English
  • Basic computer skills (data entry)
  • Basic mathematical skills (accountable for accurate load information)
  • Ability to work shift work (evenings/afternoons/weekends)
  • Forklift experience, preference will be given to individuals with a Forklift Certificate; All must obtain.
  • Problem-solving skills along with the ability to troubleshoot and make adjustments as necessary
  • Results oriented individual with the ability to sort product in a way that meets safety standards and maximizes available space.
  • Team player who shows initiative, reliability and flexibility

Physical demands and working conditions:

  • Frequently lifting/carrying a maximum of 80 lbs
  • Occasionally pushing/pulling/lifting a maximum of 100 lbs. (with the aid of a mechanical device)
  • Frequent bending and reaching above the shoulder
