Overview

PepsiCo Beverages Electrician

Location: Calgary, AB

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 1pm to 09:30pm
Compensation: $44.85 per hour + Health and Dental Benefits, Pension and Match RSP upon completion of probationary period

Responsibilities

  1. Applies knowledge of processes, equipment and system capability to achieve challenging individual and facility standards
  2. Achieve performance standards with regards to safety, line utilization, RE and quality
  3. Ensures compliance with all Health & Safety regulations
  4. Demonstrates computer proficiency
  5. Demonstrated ability to function successfully in a fast paced, changing work environment
  6. Safely and productively operate equipment in accordance with established procedures
  7. Completion of PMs as directed
  8. Accurate part entry and PM closure via INFOR a must
  9. Maintains equipment in a satisfactory condition for safe operation
  10. Actively participates in line improvement meetings and projects
  11. Ensure adherence and compliance with quality standards
  12. Performs any other tasks as directed by managers and supervisors

Qualifications

  1. Must be a licensed industrial electrician
  2. Self-motivated, well organized and able to multi-task
  3. Must have basic computer competency skills – basic programming considered an asset
  4. Ability to troubleshoot high speed packaging equipment required
  5. Must be skilled to use power tools
  6. Must possess forklift and work at height training/ certifications – or be willing to obtain
  7. Must possess high numeracy skills, record keeping ability, mechanically inclined
  8. Must demonstrate a high level of problem solving skills, interpret process control data
  9. Must demonstrate ability to perform LOTO procedure
  10. Must be able to demonstrate good knowledge of Food Safety Systems (GMP’s, CCP’s, oPRP’s)
  11. Demonstrate good attendance and a sense of urgency
  12. Willing to be involved in continuous improvement to improve the quality of the product.
  13. Must be able to lift/ carry/ pull >50lbs on occasion
  14. Must be able to perform standing, walking, bending twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping
  15. Must be able to work shifts and overtime as required
