Responsibilities

• Assists leadership with associate recruitment, hiring, staffing, development, succession planning, scheduling, attendance, and performance needs by identifying and analyzing HR issues; provides guidance on the execution of company HR programs and initiatives.
• Develops, communicates, and implements HR practices and action plans to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; analyzes data from multiple resources to ensure accuracy; monitors strategy progress and results; identifies improvement opportunities.
• Supports associates by modeling Walmart core values; promotes excellence and respect in daily routines, store meetings, and communications; encourages associates to lead by example and act with integrity; reports issues to management.
• Leads adoption of technology services and digital solutions by utilizing resources and helping associates with new ways of working.
• Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships with stakeholders; identifies business needs; carries out processes and practices; monitors progress; capitalizes on improvement opportunities; adapts to changes.
• Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports ethics by incorporating these into business plans; using Open Door Policy; demonstrating how to apply these in executing business processes.
• Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to development and improvement of action plans; provides expert guidance to others; aligns efforts to meet customer and business needs.
