Job summary

Kepler Communications is seeking a People & Culture Intern to join our Toronto team for a full-time internship starting January 2027. You will work on HRIS implementation and daily HR operations, gaining exposure to culture programs, onboarding, and employee engagement in a fast-growing startup.

The role requires pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in HR or a related field, strong organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Working toward a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment with frequently changing priorities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and handle confidential information.
• Proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and urgency, and actively seeks opportunities to contribute.
• Advance knowledge in MS Office software suite with strong aptitude in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word.
• AI Literacy: Familiarity with AI tools and an interest in using them responsibly to support HR research, reporting, communications, and administrative tasks.
• Ability to research, collect, and analyze data.
• Ability to think critically and identify gaps, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies.

Responsibilities

• HRIS: Participate in the implementation and operations of our new HRIS (Dayforce).
• Culture, Training and Reporting: Assist with coordinating bi-monthly Celebration Calls and related activities, ordering monthly employee anniversary swag, preparing training materials, supporting training sessions, and compiling HR reports as needed.
• Onboarding, Offboarding & Performance: Support activities related to onboarding, offboarding, and performance management of new employees, such as scheduling onboarding sessions and supporting the release of performance reviews.
• Employee Engagement: Researching and recommending effective ways to keep employees engaged in a remote work environment, and support employee engagement events in the office such as team lunches, holiday parties, and ad hoc events.
• HR Projects & Support: Working collaboratively on enterprise level tasks and projects as determined by the People & Culture team.
