Our People Advisory Services professionals support clients in managing and sustaining change involving people, processes, and technology. This includes stakeholder management, leadership development, organizational design, training, cultural assessment, talent management, workforce strategies, and communication planning.

The opportunity

We are seeking a Training Developer to join our Learning Services practice within EY People Advisory Services in Canada. You will work across various capabilities, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and client process leaders, to develop training materials for system and process implementations such as SAP, SuccessFactors, Guidewire, Oracle / PeopleSoft, etc.

Essential Functions of the Job :

  • Identify and validate relevant content with client and firm resources to develop training materials for blended learning modalities.
  • Coordinate with business support, client teams, and offshore resources to ensure materials meet design specifications.
  • Design and develop training materials using instructional design principles and eLearning tools.
  • Refine training materials based on review and feedback from EY and client leadership.
  • Develop evaluation instruments to assess training effectiveness.
  • Update training materials based on survey feedback.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements :

  • Ability to determine appropriate training approaches based on needs analysis and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles, curriculum development, and training measurement.
  • Understanding of media production and communication techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills for converting raw content into training materials.
  • Working knowledge of at least two of the following : SAP EnableNow, Oracle Guided Learning, Articulate, Captivate, Lectora, Camtasia, Adobe Suite, UPK, or uPerform.

Qualifications :

  • 3-6 years of progressive training and development experience.
  • Experience with technology transformation training (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Guidewire).
  • Bilingual in French is a plus.

Preferred Skills :

  • Strong organization and time management skills, capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
