Your Key Responsibilities

  • Perform requirements gathering sessions with internal and external stakeholders, leveraging instructional design principles and understanding of learning authoring tools.
  • Collaborate with client and firm subject matter resources to define training strategy, assess training needs, and define a curriculum that fits budget and addresses needs for both existing and future learners
  • Establish and manage a learning development workplan
  • Lead training development teams of instructional designers from EY Canada, EY Global, and potentially including clients and contractors
  • Manage interactions with business support services, client-facing teams, and offshore development resources to ensure that materials meet client training design specifications
  • Generate ideas and solutions which address stakeholder requirements
  • Manage all aspects of projects: scope, risk, budget, quality, and communication
  • Participate in client and internal team meetings
  • Assist the Business Development team on new business opportunities
  • Leverage project knowledge and client relationships to assist in revenue growth
  • Develop people. Provide constructive on-the-job feedback/training. Foster an innovative and team-oriented work environment.
  • Demonstrate high levels of technical and professional knowledge and quickly assimilate new knowledge.

To qualify for the role, you should have

  • 3+ years of experience managing learning solutions projects
  • A minimum of three to six years of progressively responsible training and development experience, with hands on experience of common development tools such as SAP
  • Experience with complex technology transformations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft D365) related training required
  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
