The opportunity
We are seeking a Manager for our People Consulting practice in the HR M&A Transactions team. This team services clients with a full range of hands-on, operationally focused support and advice across the M&A transaction life cycle, for both buy and sell side M&A deals.
Your key responsibilities
- Manage and deliver all aspects of HR and Organizational Design services throughout the M&A transaction lifecycle, including:
- HR due diligence and red flag reports
- Day 1 HR function readiness
- HR TSA services design and delivery
- Operating model and organizational design
- Talent planning and transitioning
- HR project management support
- Assist in identifying risks and issues related to HR integration/separation planning.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge in the Human Resources functional area.
- Generate new business opportunities and understand Ernst & Young service lines.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with client management.
- Lead client engagement teams and work with a wide variety of clients.
- Develop and successfully manage risk, project economics, and escalations.
- Contribute to thought leadership and enhance HR M&A offering.
- Develop people by providing constructive feedback and fostering a team-oriented work environment.
- Flexibility and ability to travel for client projects.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Educated to degree level.
- Approximately 5-8 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in M&A enablement areas.
- Experience in complex transactions such as mergers and acquisitions.
- Experience in selling and delivering projects.
- Demonstrated record in driving revenue within existing clients.
- Effective organization and time management skills.
