Summary of Role & Key Responsibilities
The NALA (North America-Latin America) People and Development Lead will work closely with the NA leadership team and Global Head of People to develop and implement strategies for talent attraction, development, and retention, aligning with the Anthesis employee value proposition and fostering a great workplace. The role also ensures compliance with all employee-related laws in the US and Canada, with oversight of Latin America operations.
Preference for someone based in the Boulder/Denver, Colorado area, with proximity to our headquarters, or willing to travel occasionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor for the NA Regional Lead and Leadership Team
- Collaborate with senior leadership on culture, talent acquisition, and retention strategies
- Provide oversight on LATAM people priorities in partnership with the LATAM P&D Lead
- Support leadership in building a collaborative, empowered, and client-centric culture within a remote workforce
- Contribute to the global People and Development leadership team
- Support global people practices relevant to NALA, leading specific projects
- Report on people practices, initiatives, and compliance matters
- Mitigate risks related to employee relations issues
- Oversee HR programs including compensation, benefits, performance management, and safety
- Identify staffing needs and develop hiring practices aligned with Anthesis principles
- Research organizational trends and analyze reports and metrics
- Coach colleagues on change management and business challenges
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and update policies accordingly
- Maintain knowledge of HR trends and legal changes
- Develop contract terms for new hires and transfers
- Manage the People & Development budget for NALA
- Facilitate professional development activities for P&D staff
- Lead and develop People and Development Business Partners
- Support the implementation of NALA’s JEDIA strategy
- Collaborate on pay equity and compensation activities
- Perform other related duties as required
Key Requirements & Skills
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Proactive with a bias for action
- Business acumen and leadership experience
- Knowledge of US and Canadian employment laws
- Fluent Spanish speaker
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and talent management systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related; Master’s preferred
- Minimum ten years of HR management experience, preferably in a professional services or fast-growing environment
- Experience supporting global, remote teams
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
