Job summary

Magris Talc Canada Inc. in Timmins is seeking a Utility 2 to support safe and efficient mill operations. You will operate packaging equipment, collect samples for quality testing, and assist with loading trucks as needed.

The role requires basic training, a high school diploma, and the ability to work rotating shifts in a production environment. Teamwork, safety, and initiative are essential to succeed in this position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of experience in a mineral processing facility.
• Basic Mill Common Core training is asset.
• Forklift training and certification is asset.
• First Aid certification is asset.
• Willingness to complete additional training as required.
• Ability to instruct or assist in training of others, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate, adjust, maintain, and troubleshoot Pellet Mill packaging and associated equipment.
• Keep bagging stations running as needed.
• Collect product samples and perform in-process quality testing.
• Support loading and weighing of trucks for shipment.
• Maintain pellet mill dies and coordinate die changes with supervisor.
• Collaborate with Shift Leader to determine best operation method per shift.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor or plant manager.
