A leading company is seeking a skilled painter to work on railcars and locomotives. The position involves various painting techniques, quality checks, and preparation of parts. This is a fully onsite role offering competitive pay and benefits, ideal for candidates with painting experience.
Description
· Paint railcars and locomotives;
· Identify defects on parts and vehicles;
· Prepare parts and equipment for painting (cleaning, sanding, masking);
· Condition paint and compounds to obtain the desired color and texture;
· Apply airless, conventional, polyurethane, epoxy, and epoxy primer paint;
· Apply stencils and touch up using a brush or roller;
· Check the quality of the work;
· Put away equipment and clean the work area;
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
