Job Description

Condie Genetics is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Pedigreed Seed professional to join our team. The position represents Condie Genetics in southern Saskatchewan and Alberta, developing and managing relationships with breeders, pedigreed seed growers, and their customers. This role involves responsibilities in agronomy, product development, marketing, sales, and industry liaison. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of sales expertise, agricultural knowledge, and leadership skills to effectively build relationships and deliver value.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve territory sales targets.
  2. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through market research and networking.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  4. Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers.
  5. Negotiate contracts and close sales while ensuring compliance with company policies.
  6. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  7. Manage small agronomy clientele to build and maintain relevant industry knowledge.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in agronomy, agriculture sales, or territory management.
  • Strong understanding of account management principles with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Applicants must be registered or need to become registered with the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Proficiency in utilizing technology tools for sales tracking and reporting.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
