Role and Facility Information

Langley Pediatrics is seeking a new pediatric consultant to join a team of 9 pediatricians providing on-site services. The program offers inpatient care (9-bed pediatric ward, 5-bed Level 1B nursery) and outpatient services (rapid access clinic, IV therapy clinic). The maternity ward handles approximately 1500 births annually; the emergency department sees about 6000-7000 pediatric patients per year; and our Rapid Access Clinic (SNACK) has served nearly 2000 patients in its first 20 months.

With a large team of pediatricians, schedule flexibility is available with call expectations ranging from 1 in 5 to 1 in 7. Call duties are divided into daytime (9-6) and evening (6-9), which are quite manageable.

We seek enthusiastic team players who enjoy teaching and are committed to professional growth. NRP certification is required; PALS and APLS certifications are highly valued. CPSBC US-certified class registration is acceptable.

Langley Memorial Hospital is a community hospital with 188 acute beds, offering medical, surgical, obstetrics, pediatrics, psychiatry, critical care, and ambulatory services, along with 24/7 emergency care, which sees approximately 47,952 visits annually.
