  • At least two (2) years' experience in public health.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
  • Required certifications : CA Medical License, DEA Certificate, BSL certification.

Job Overview

As a Pediatrician, responsibilities include reviewing patient records, eliciting medical history, and conducting thorough physical examinations. Tests and diagnostic procedures are ordered and analyzed to determine patient condition and treatment plans. Medications and treatments are prescribed as per state guidelines and clinic regulations, with attention to potential side effects and immunization needs. Health promotion is integral, advising patients on diet, hygiene, and disease prevention. Surgical procedures are performed as appropriate. Referrals to specialists are made when necessary, and patient visits are meticulously documented in electronic health records. Additional duties include administering family planning services, attending seminars, and overseeing patient care during emergencies. This full-time role operates on a Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm schedule.
