Job summary

University of British Columbia (BC Children's Hospital Research Institute) seeks a CRSU Research Therapist to perform patient assessments and provide occupational/physiotherapy treatment per study protocol for active pediatric clinical studies. This role reports to the Senior Research Manager and collaborates with physicians, nurses and research staff on-site at BC Children's Hospital.

The ideal candidate has an undergraduate degree in occupational therapy, registration with BC College of OT,

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in occupational therapy.
• Registration with College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia.
• Minimum of five years of related experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical or research assessments for research patients.
• Develop and facilitate therapy treatment programs per study protocol.
• Oversee data collection including clinical data, assessments, and outcomes.
• Maintain communication with patients, families and study staff.
• Work on-site at BC Children's Hospital and in collaboration with investigators.
