Job summary

University of British Columbia is seeking an E2i Research Coordinator to support the Evidence to Innovation Theme. The role focuses on organizing seminars, coordinating annual events, and managing financial and communications tasks within the Theme.

Reporting to the Theme Research Manager, you will liaise with investigators, staff, and administrative units to ensure smooth operations, accurate reporting, and timely responses to inquiries. Background checks are required.

Responsibilities

• Organizes seminars, symposia, and other research-related events
• Processes finance paperwork for Theme accounts and tracks spending for forecasting
• Performs administrative duties including booking meetings, catering, and travel
• Assists with E2i communications including emails, bulletins and reports, and maintains web content
• Tracks research metrics (grants, awards, publications) for Theme reporting to BCCHR, UBC, PHSA, BCCH, BCCHF
• Assists in other research-related administration and management as assigned
• Triages questions from E2i investigators, staff, and trainees to appropriate administrative units
